The author of the book, Foundations of Diversity, released in 2018, Duncan has significant experience in developing cultural awareness to improve global performance. He has worked in 24 countries across 4 continents (North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia) and has managed international sales and marketing operations. He has also been the Regional Diversity Advisor for Asia-Pacific and Japan, as well as led an Asia-Pacific Community of Practice for Inclusive Leadership. His work spans over a myriad of sectors ranging from banking and finance, technology and engineering, legal, professional services, mining, oil and gas, university, and manufacturing.
Based in Melbourne, Australia and Boston, USA, Duncan holds a BA in Comparative Religion from Trinity College and a M.Ed. from Harvard, focusing on Organizational Behaviour and Adult Learning. A Honorary Fellow of Melbourne Business School, he has lectured in Management, Organisational Behaviour, and Diversity at a number of Australian universities, as well as published articles in both Australian and U.S. periodicals.
Duncan is an accredited administrator of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and has trained in multiple Instructional Design and Action Learning methods.
A member of the Expert Panel for the Global Inclusion and Diversity Benchmarks since 2011, Duncan collaborates with us on facilitation programs and other interventions, geared towards both global and local leaders.
